School supplies have hit store shelves and we've acquire the goods! With your heart felt gifts, we'll be donating learning supplies to schools in Michigan, Virginia and Illinois! We're thrilled to have school supplies for students K-12! We're in the midst of packing up supplies for shipping and once school counselors and teachers have returned, check back here to find out which schools requested assistance this year! Thank you!

💦Water Donations at AFAC 💦

The Finney Foundation is always happy to partner with the Arlington Food Assistance Center in Arlington, VA. It's been 90-100 degrees for weeks now, so we returned this weekend to gift water, after donating pounds of food in the spring. We were meet with a line of waiting souls, some smiling, others with serious looks of concerns. We know what those looks are about. We're grateful to you who continue to donate, as we strive to help those who need help the most. Thank you!

Mother's Day 2025

The Finney Foundation is thrilled to partner again this year with A Woman's Journey, TN to bless 250 women at the Nashville Rescue Mission Women's Campus! Your donations make this possible! This year marked 15 years of loving and uplifting women in our community!

Celebrating 50 Years of Service

The Finney Foundation would like to congratulate Father Michael Pfleger and the St. Sabina Community! Father Pfleger is a force and backed by the Holy Spirit, for the past 50 years, he gets it done for the South Side of Chicago! With your support, we continue to pour into St. Sabina programs, including their food pantry acquired from Catholic Charities at the end of 2024. Your assistance has helped supply food, clothes, shoes, diapers and baby formula to those feeling the loss of the local Walmart in that community! We look forward to working with Father Pfleger and St. Sabina doing God’s Good Work!

The Need is Great!

We received a letter from the CEO of one our long time partners AFAC, Arlington Food Assistance Center, describing the increased need of food over the past months. Donations since the end of January 2025 are down 56%! That's a loss of over half of the incoming food supply donations for a food pantry that's already well utilized in the community! We rallied our supplies to increase our donations and on a recent drop off visit, found long lines and those who are new to the food pantry due to job loss and harder economic times. The Finney Foundation continues in our efforts with your continued support to help the AFAC and our other church, shelter and food pantry partners across the nation!

Back to school thank yous are still coming in from your generous donations this school year, making it possible for students who need a little help to go back to school ready to learn and thrive!

Supplies were donated to students and classrooms in Michigan and Virginia:

* University Prep MS

* Frances W. McKinney ES

* Woodville ES

* Fair Oaks Community School

Students received hundreds of pencils, crayons, safety scissors, loose leaf notebook paper, binders, glue sticks, pencil holders, markers and hygiene supplies!
